Lane Kiffin's new dream job!

I asked this question on another thread and didn't receive an answer so I will ask again here.

How realistic are the chances of John Currie and the Haslams rehiring Lane Kiffin?

Would they reach out to him? In light of recent events, I sincerely doubt it myself. Kiffin, then, would have to petition them and likely be ignored. That is my opinion, but I don't have any idea what is going on inside the heads of these people. My opinion of Kiffin's return notwithstanding, the idea is intriguing.

Haslam loved Kiffin in 2009. He was the one pushing for him.

Do you think he could bring Bryce Petty and Tajh Boyd back in the mix? After all they are Vols for life right?

He is asking for a chance to make things right. 2017 Kiffin isn't 2009 Kiffin. If he wants to be here as much as he says he does then the risk is worth the reward. Love him or hate him you have to admit the 2009 season was funner than hell.
Oh the leopard has erased his spots? So when his next "dream job" opened up, burning mattresses again. Maybe to Clemson when Dabo goes to Bama?

No thanks.

Just heard on Basilio( take it with a grain of salt) that Troy Calhouhn is tops on curries list. he loves the guy . Everyone needs to let their voice be heard or we will never see the SEC championship game again. Its got to be Lane Kiffin . He also said that If Jimbo Fisher bolts to A and M kiffin may be in play for the FLA st job . If we dont let our voices be heard TODAY we may very well be an SEC bottom dweller with Vandy from now on . KIFFIN NOW

For him to get his "next dream job" he will have to win big here.

Think about it. Who could better dissect that Alabama defense? Nobody else out there. Lane Kiffin is the last person Mr. Saban wants to see coaching the Tennessee Volunteers. Alabama's dominance would come to an end!

That don't mean squat to Currie. He's an idiot.
