He tweeted the not waiting thing as satire. Someone with a fake lane Kiffin handle had people in a tizzy. That person tweeted that Kiffins waiting by his cell. So in response to that Lane took the opportunity to do 2 things seeing as he realistically didn't think he would have a shot at getting back here taking publicity of himself and his teams success. Secondly to make it not look as obvious he is lobbying to leave FAU so soon.

Kiffin has said the biggest mistake he's made is leaving Tennessee in the first place. I'd take him back....but I'm also desperate after this fiasco.

He can recruit...he can coach....and we would win.

I really don't think there would be much outrage. There'd be some.....but nothing like Schiano debacle.

I will say this. Lane gets under Nick's skin like few others. I've heard from UA defensive players they would do stuff to make the offense look bad in practice just to see Nick go off on him. It was a running joke the last year he was there.
