I think he is great.

I'm an old guy whose blood was Deep Orange all the way back when Bowden Wyatt was coaching and it's just as deeply orange now as it was then. That being said, I've never been more excited about Vol Ball than I am with Kiffin leading the charge. What a great feeling to see a youthful, progressive coach who really believes in his abilities, his staff, and his program. We just have to wait and see, of course, but I'll be very surprised if all of us aren't absolutely ecstatic with the coaching and the effort that we'll see this fall and all following falls. It's refreshing to hear the optimistic statements and to see the energy that this guy brings to the program. I remember the '51 national championship and was in AZ for the '98 one; I firmly believe that I'll get to experience the euphoria that I had on that Jan. night a little over a decade ago. You young guys/ladies just wait - it's going to be a wildly productive next few years on Old Rocky Top.....I'm also planning to hang around for a few more years to be a part of it....
