2) Matt Leinart? Ever heard of him? I doubt it since you fail to acknowledge a society outside of the south, but he was a fairly decent college QB. I think he won some award called the Heisman trophy or something when Kiffin was the passing game coordinator in 2004. Booty wasn't a great QB, but both he and Leinart were 3,000 yard passers under Kiffin in 2005 and 2006 respectively. That's not shabby.

3) Kiffin was the OC for USC for 2 years. You might want to check your facts.

You need to dig a little deeper.

Steve Sarkisian was the quarterbacks coach for both of those guys. Because Kiffin was on staff does not mean they were "under" him.

Please find a reference anywhere in which someone praises Lane for developing a QB.

Prediction: even with all the talent available at USC, kiffin will produce mediocre results.

In a few weeks, to keep his name in the media, kiffin will come out with something else about UT that he didn't like.

Im not even going to be PC about it...GOOD. i hope him and that traitor staff of his has a little voice in the back of their head saying "am i going to be safe if i go to tennessee to recruit this kid...hmmm" hahai hope all SEC states band together and boycott that california fairy..

i don't doubt that anyone sent him threats, but kiffin has said a lot of things. i really don't care what the guy has to say. reading/listening to his comments is like eating chinese food while watching the browns play in the toilet bowl....... pointless waste of time (and makes you sick to your stomach)

He has little competition in the Pac 10. The only thing that could stop him from winning big at USC is the upcoming 'AA ruling.

Well kiffin got the verbal abuse he deserved for what he did. It's not that he left...it's how he left and when he did it. He new coming to tn that we are the most passoniate fans in college football outside of a few +/-. We do not have a lot to cheer for in east TN so college football is the livelihood.

When his father retires, I think Kiffin will have trouble winning. His father made a huge difference last season.

Wow, you used Leinart as your comeback slam? Another over-rated Pac 10 qb who chokes in the NFL and is riding the pine behind Warner? Not a good pick, my friend. Anyone can throw all over the field in the ACC if they have a good team. It's not exactly a defensive minded conference.

1) Wow, you apparently don't know the difference between college and the NFL. He won the freaking Heisman, genius. I would say that would make Leinart a great COLLEGE QB. No one is talking about the NFL. It's an entirely different deal. Sometimes it translates and sometimes it doesn't. That doesn't take away from what Leinart did at USC.

2) ACC? It's called the PAC-10 Einstein.
