It's a curious comparison. 2010 and 2011 will be the best measuring stick.

I'd have no problem us becoming the next 'U'. So long as our kids are going to class, our recruiting tactics are legal.

Think about it, our coaches got in trouble for saying the name of a recruit on the radio. These rules are ridiculous. Heaven forbid we use smoke at Neyland Stadium, er, wait, we already did.

And you would want to be compared to those Miami teams why??? They were an embarrassment to the whole CFB world. I never had respect for JJ for the way he let those morons act on the field. You guys mentioned the movie the U, well I thought it was funny how they went from the 92 beatdown of the longhorns right to the 95 scandal. They completely skipped the beatdown we put on them in the 93 Sugar bowl.

And even if you do want Kiffin to be like JJ, he will never be half the coach JJ was.

But you just got through saying that Johnson is a piece of crap. Make up your mind.

I said I did not have respect for him for the way he let those self absorbed morons act they way they did. I never said he was not a good coach. I dont think anyone could say that with a straight face. He has a super bowl ring.

And those morons have a couple rings too. Haha- I guess they shouldve borrowed some textbooks from TTown.

Those kids are from a different culture than you, so their actions look wierd and stupid to you. I think its rude to be an hour late to meeting. However, in the far east-its nothing to be a week late for a meeting. Different cultures.Like they said- you don't want to see us dance, then don't let us in the endzone. Plain and simple! Tradition bla bla- should we use leather pads and helmets too?
Posted via VolNation MobileYou also say that Kiff will never be 1/2 the coach JJ was. I'm curious, did you watch the UT/Bama game? Bc I saw you all get out coached in the final quarter! Jus wondering, bc I personally think NS is one of the best in the business, and if CLK outcoached/out-adjusted him, then that means you think that NS isn't half the coach JJ is.I disagree on both counts. You=Fail

.

Shut up bammer. Tennessee put a beat down on um in the mid 80's. Miami didn't fare too well against the good teams of the SEC. We beat em with Bo. :geek:

I think a big difference is that Johnson didn't have a lot of control of his players off the field and there was a general lack of discipline on those Miami teams

The only differences I see are the Super Bowl rings, college national championships and winning record. Other than that they are the spitting image.

I know they don't offer reading comp classes down there tiger, but ill help you. I am comparing them at similar points in their career. (First 1-4 years at UT/ UM) Now, you should be able to understand and post something worth reading. Good luck!
