Like some, Kiffin left a bad taste in my mouth when and how he left. However, I have a business partner that was recruited (flipped) and played for Kiffin (and Dooley) and therefore I have heard many times how the players loved Kiffin and that he was a players coach. This has come from him and others that played with him at that time. So, with that said, I would consider bringing Kiffin back because of what I have heard from those that played for him and his offensive genius.
I could forgive Kiffin if he made a commitment to UT and apologized...Anybody but that Schiano loser...Hell hire Bobby Petrino and i'll go out and cruise the trailer parks for the skankiest bell of the ball trailer park harlet and meet him at the airport and give her to him as a sacrifice at this point lol...just hire somebody good please!!
I think the Chip Kelly talk to UF is a guise for who they really want; and thats Lane.
If UF gets him, you can forget the East if we get the same budget or up and comer hire.
Get over the high school "he broke my heart" bs.....
Get on a plane, fly him back, sign the contract (with stipulations) and let him coach this team up.

Some of y'all's obsession with Kiffin reminds me of the nerdy guy who somehow talked a '10' into going to the prom. Now 10 years later, she's dumpy and sorta homely, with a few strategically placed tattoos, but she's a trash-talking trollop who lives in the trailer park. Yet, you all talk about her like she's still the same enchanting princess from that fateful night and you just won't shut up about her.
Kiffin at 42, is still immature, quirky, lacks discipline, is arrogant to a fault, and is so much of an off the field wildcard, that even with a resume that includes coaching 3 Heisman winners and a fist full of championship rings, he's still relegated to a coaching graveyard like FAU.
He has now left 4 consecutive jobs in a weird, dramatic fashion and you still don't see the red flags with him. Baffling. Let's don't even get into the fact that he left us in the NCAA doghouse, dabbling with the nefarious Willie Lyles of the world, the same dope that got Chip Kelly a show cause.
As George W Bush once said "there's an old saying in Tennessee--I know it's in Texas--probably in Tennessee, that says fool me once, shame on--shame on you. Fool me--you can't get fooled again."
For leaving the way he did and leaving the program in a dumpster fire...I do not blame him for leaving for his dream job but the way he did it was very unprofessional.
Why does everyone think he is a great coach? Because he coached under Saban. Most offensive coordinators would look great with the best talent in the country. Kiffin is in trouble, wherever he goes. We need a good solid coach not a egomaniac trouble maker.
