Lane Kiffin is THE MAN / Postgame interview

I am excited for the future of this team. In two years, we will be in contention. What Kiffin is doing is not an accident. The man knows what he is doing. We are a serviceable QB away from being 3-0.

Most impressive thing I saw in the last two games is the coaches continued putting us in a position to win the football game even after the bad plays and falling behind. Get a good quarterback and depth in there and its going to be even more fun to watch.

Just saw over on the recruiting forum that Kiffin went over and talked to some of the recruits after the game... Luc's host had to pull him away. Hahahaha. I love it.

Kiffin is always working to get better. He is ALWAYS switched on. You have to love the guy for preparing for next years game by talking to this year's Florida recruits. Phenomenal

It's Good to see TN. compete.

I'm tired of competing, we played good enough to at least tie. But no we cannot depend on our offense to do something. My prediction top five defensive top 120 offensive. Please call a spade a spade and be honest, until we have a qp we will not win when we have a chance

"we are out hitting them and out playing them" ... CLK at the halftime interview.

3 on camera interviews for CLK, 1 for CUM.

"i can't hear you the band is playing Rocky Top" in response to the rocky top question was priceless.

very impressive performance today.

Lets see... Meyers had 5 years building his program prior to this game, a number one ranked team, a Heisman trophy winner and current candidate playing. Kiffin had 9 months to get ready, put a new program in with a lot of players that were on a 5 - 7 team last year.... loved it when he said "we'll see 'em next year..."

3 games in and you're already tired of being competitive? Does email work fast enough for you?

We're at the point with Florida that if we play it close it's a win for us. Sad.

Don't look at it this way. Look at it as an investment that gives a really great return. We are out-recruiting Florida and all the other teams in the SEC right now.

We almost won this game with a sub-par quarterback! I knew we weren't going to be 3-0 this season (although with a better QB we could be) but I do know that next season we are going to beat Florida in Knoxville. And I'm buying tickets. 364 days to go.

there is one man responsible for making us much less competitive for at least this year and maybe next..

Most impressive thing I saw besides the intensity was the gameplan for special teams. Punting it a little low and little shorter so James can't return it was ingenious. The reverse on the 2nd half kickoff was very nice. This coaching staff takes everything serious even the ST unlike the previous regime. Go VOLS!

Could people stop quoting wolfe. It makes the ignore button worthless otherwise.

Thanks in advance. :)

they're even talking about Lane during the in game conversations of the AU game. Talking about how Lane has been the talk of the SEC since he was hired and its lost that MSU and AU hired new coaches this year. Bob Davie says he loves it.

Yeah, he's really great. We're 1-2 and just lost for the fifth straight time to the Gators.

Oh, and he played to keep in "respectible" rather than trying to win as the clock ran down.

Wooooooo Hooooo!

We may be 1-2, but at least we covered the spread!

Woooooooo Hooo!

Kiffin Koolaid is simply bizarre.

You sir---are an idiot!!!!!

I cant make a thread but I just wanna know 1 thing???

Y IS IT THAT EVERY TIME UT PLAYS FLORIDA THE ANNOUCERS ARE ALWAYS FOR FLORIDA AND ACT LIKE TENNESSEE HAS NO SKILLS WHAT SO EVER.

I wouldn't go that far, but they do act like Florida is supposed to win no matter what. Which is what you will get with 2 BCS championships in 3 years.

I'll be the first to admit that it sucks to be happy about matching a team you lose to. But that is where this program is, and if you have been keeping up with it you know that is where we are. This was a good day. Not what we want - but evidence we are heading in the right direction.

And I really expect us to get better each week.
Bamer is in trouble.

Ignorance is bliss.

You can cheer for Louisville next year when your hero is clapping on the sidelines.

I really take this loss as a positive, I understand completely that we lost, but I am pragmatic in my approach in looking to what is going to be very positive very soon. If you would like to say I am drinking the Kool Aide, fine, but I think we need to be pragmatic and positive, good things are coming
