Probably over 20 plus threads begging Kiffin to come back...

Question for all the Kiffinites.

What makes you so sure he wants to come back? He mocks and goes out of his own way to find something negative to post about UT on Twitter. Funny thing is, some of ya’ll really believe he’s matured. He still hasn’t changed one bit nor does he have respect for this University.

Sorry but a coach with integrity doesn’t seem to fit Kiffin’s narrative.

Maybe somewhere like UL or FSU would be a better landing spot if he’s really that desperate.

Not to mention, what the hell has he proven as a HC in the SEC? I’m not talking about being an OC.

Huge difference between those two.

People who believed in Gruden was a possibility got blasted but somehow the folks who believe Kiffin would be a great option, they get praised for it.

Kiffin had his chance but he pissed it away. The fans nor the University doesn’t owe him a damn thing expect a giant middle finger.

Nice procrustean bed, no matter what anyone tells you, your mind is made up. And your basis of judgement on him is based purely in emotions.

I agree. Wanting Kiffin back is like wanting your ex girlfriend back after she left your ass for another man in the middle of the night. I know the reference is tired and overused, but to me thats exactly how it feels. Except imagine her leaving you THEN going on twitter and making fun of you at every opportunity. People who want him hired have no pride and are pathetic.

You speak of integrity but your number 1 choice was always Chip Kelly. Pot meet kettle.

Do better. People using the lame ass ex girlfriend analogy are so far of base it’s absurd.

That analogy is nothing like Kiffin potentially coming back to UT.

No. Its not. We will never hire someone who left under the circumstances that he left. Move on man, its not happening. Ever. He set this university back probably a decade.

If they like mediocrity, Lane Kiffin would be perfect for them.

Dont be silly. Lane Kiffin can be a PITA but he is anything but mediocre - or nobody would have put up with him this long. He is 42 and just took a garbage loser team to a championship in the 1st year. If his name was anything else, we would have him as #1 hire (and so would everyone else).

Lane is going to be in another major program either this year or next and when he is all of you will weep when whoever we pick has to play his team. Your emotions get the better of you.

So, why didn't it work out at USC?
