I had not heard this yet....thanks for posting. Just passed in on to a few other folks as well. I liked the part where he says the vol walk is 10x bigger than the trojan walk...but that Coach "O" will protect his wife during the vol walk!

he mentioned when he talked about signing the top players after signing day that they had to go get a safety from lousiana....does that hint that maybe janzen jackson will be a safety?

Good interview, he isn't bleeding orange yet, when he mentions Tennessee/Knoxville, it is like he is talking about somewhere else at times. No biggie, that'll change after a couple of games in Neyland.

He's just 4 months into being in Knoxville. He is a carpet bagger, and if all goes well we will embrace him as our very own carpet bagger.

Plus he came from LA. LA to Knoxville is quite the leap (via Oakland).

A guy that is not from the South and sets up shop so to speak in the South. It was a term for Yankees who came into the South after the Civil War to take advantage of Southern folks politically and financially. Not exactly Kiffin, but more of a comment on the fact that he is a transplant, doing well for himself on Southern soil.
