We need teams to fear coming into Neyland...I want then to know they are going to get hit on every play, and at the end of 60 minutes there going to walk out feeling miserable and dejected

Does anybody else think Kiffin and Pearl sound similar in the way they talk? Short sentences-to the point. Neither one uses alot of uhs, or ums, or fillers or stallers of any kind. Both come across as focused and sure of what they want to say. I like that.

Very similar. He needs to market the program much in the same way Bruce did. Albeit football even in it's lowest season didn't get to the low point basketball did. But Pearl has sold his program, and a lot of that has come from taking care of your home field/court.

On the money and you are correct. I believe it is because they are articulate and smart. Both coaches do have HAVE a point to make. They aren't just talking, they have a PLAN and PURPOSE for what they are speaking about. That's why they are passionate.....it's seriously from their heart, reflecting what they really believe. Head Football Coach speak is officially over. I'll be a good diet to have MEAT and POTATOES. We'll always get a little BS for dessert, but at least I'll be full first.
