Lane kiffin will be a great coach! hes going to have a good staff with him as well! Kiffin is a good recruiter and was at USC when they were at the peak! Al davis is a nut job we can all agree on that, but al davis knows talent! Its just that al davis dosent know what to do with talent! Kiffin will be good! trust me. have faith!
Kiffin has never accomplished anything as a head coach. All his rep comes from his time as Southern Cal's supposed offensive coordinator in 2005 and 2006, but USC didn't win the national titles in those years as it did the previous two seasons.
Also, play-calling was shared with quarterbacks coach Steve Sarkisian, with USC head coach Pete Carroll having veto power.
So just how brilliant is the boy wonder Kiffin? Consider that the University of Washington, a Pac-10 school, has an opening, and they haven't even given Kiffin, someone who knows the league, a sniff.
Poor Kiffinites :cray:
Every single word of this is true.
Prove it wrong, then slam the writer.
What I am going to love is if Kiffin succeeds. The Fulmerites will still hate Hammy for firing there leader. So it will just be an accident he picked Kiffin and not because he knows what he is doing.
It's not the firing, that will weigh on Hamilton..The hire is what will define his leadership of the Athletic Department
So he needs to get it right

Sticking Kiffin in the SEC's all-star lineup of coaches that includes four coaches who have won national championships (Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Les Miles, Urban Meyer) and another with an unbeaten season (Auburn's Tommy Tuberville) would be like tossing a goldfish into a pool of piranhas.
Someone needs to send this list to Mr. Higgins at the Commercial Appeal. ... It really is a sad state of affairs when it comes to some of the writers in this state. Here's the article in case you haven't seen it.
That story made me think of the "Real men of genius" radio beer ad "Mr. Sportstalk Radio Commentator Guy". I have given students Cs and Ds for less turgid prose. And while he manages to rehash and reword much of the already available anti-Kiffin material out there, the only new information he presents is that there is someone out there with so little self respect as to call another adult "Peytie Pie".
It appears the only real qualification to be a small- or mid-market sportswriter is a pulse and a chip on your shoulder. There's better journalism here.
The sad part about it though.....Higgins is 100% correct.
