Chris Mortenson is on the Sports Animal right now really advocating Kiffin. Says despite their win-loss record last year, he had them competitive in 12 out of their 16 games last year...meaning they had the lead or trailed by one score or less in those games. He did this all with supposedly the worst team he's seen in the NFL in a long time. Also thinks he would be incredible in a recruits living room. I'm not advocated Kiffin but this is interesting coming from someone who should know. You should take a listen.

This point in particular has been discussed on here more than once but some people continue to to point to his W/L record in Oakland as a knock against him, still don't understand it.

And Mort saying something just means somebody else already filed a story and he, all of a sudden, picked up "breaking news".

I put him right up there with Barnhart. Yes he had a son at Arkansas but he also was reporting in the SEC media hotbed of Atlanta for years.

I agree with the exception of becoming a Tide fan. We can go 0-12 for 10 straight years, and there's still no way I converting to a Bama fan. I don't care about a name either as long as they can coach, but Kiffin will take us further down rather than up.
