Exactly. The ACC is EASIER. SEC= Superior to Every Other Conference. Our sports programs are better, our facilities are better, and our fan base is worth coming here for on its own. Anyone that would choose Clemson over Tennessee is an idiot.

If someone has the option of coaching in the SEC or ACC and they chose ACC then it shows they are a prime example of Gallus domesticus

haha to get my students familiar with the scientific names, is what i do is have them take the lunch menu and take translate the stuff into the scientific names, and we are having chicken today so it was right there haha

I guess I just don't get that kind of mentality. I would rather have a few losses under my belt at an SEC school than be #1 in a easy conference where I had a cake schedule and everyone knew I didn't really deserve to be #1.

Some of you are stuck so much on thinking as football fans that you forget that this is also a business and a job for these coaches. Job security is more important to some of these prospective coaches than you think. Clemson is going to offer equal pay (or very close to it) and will offer much more job security. I am not arguing the right or wrong about it and how much competitive fire the coach should have inside them. I am speaking in reality...its a big factor for many coaches.

UT will be able to offer more money than Clemson. But not as much of a difference as some people on here think.

If successful, how long is he here before he thinks about going back to the pro game? Probably still has a lot to prove after the Oakland debacle.

Hes interviewing with Clemson today, and if they decide they dont want him, I sure dont want him on the hill.

So the decision of Clemson's AD influences how good of a coach Kiffin will be? Not to mention, there is no way Kiffin is going to accept Clemson's offer without using other jobs to up the offer first anyways.
