what about MH holding off announcing it until our season is over out of "respect" for CPF? there has already been criticism of the firing coming before season's end.

he has reasons firing after the SC game, and for tossing out Dec 1.

but why is it being so secret? I would think that any kind of indication of what direction he is looking, would help save our sinking ship that is our recruiting class

4 guys have de-committed and only one looked to be anything special.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. If one recruiting class has to be bad for this program to get on the right track, so be it.

IF we hire a coach mid December they will have PLENTY of time to shore together this great recruiting class....

Just so that I understand, those that are on this board that want Kiffin are nervous that Clemson is going to steal him. Those that don't want Kiffin at UT don't want anyone else to hire him before UT's selection. Correct?

Next year is going to not only be interesting for having a new HC but also for the program comparisons with those schools that are looking at the same time as UT. I hope it does not turn out to be a week by week comparison with Clemson.

im not saying that we are going to have a stellar recruiting class or whatever, is what im saying is that if some kind of indication was made, then maybe it could help some that are strattling the fence on where to go, and possibly pull in some others.

The coach will have 2 1/2 months to round up a decent class.

If this were true and MH is just waiting to announce then why would Kiffin be talking with Clemson?

this is more intense to me then the presidential election. if they announce that there is going to be a press conference the next day and its during the day me and a few other coaches are going to get subs for the day and go somewhere to watch the conference. either to celebrate or exchance wtfs

its gonna be funny when that day half the coaching staff here at school is going to be out "sick." i guess we will all quarentine ourselves at hooters or something haha

Tell me again why Clemson is so much worse than UT? They have great facilities, an easier conference to play in, and better in state recruits. Tennessee is a better job in my opinion, but not vastly superior as some have suggested.

haha, yah. im taking night classes for my masters. Its not as fun as when i was in my undergraduate. this whole real world thing isnt fun at all. But the beauty of being a teacher is summers off and nice holiday breaks haha
