The best thing TN fans can do is show some class. When you harbor hatred in your heart it tends to come back and hurt you worse than the person you hate. Some of the LSU fans acted like idiots when Saban came back to Baton Rouge because he left them so what did it get them?....NOTHING. He has been a success at AL in spite of all their hatred. Certainly, TN is not the only team to exhibit resentment toward a coach....AL has treated some of their coaches like dirt....throwing bricks through their windows, etc. However, I agree, we are above that kind of childless behavior. Kiffin has not fared all that well since leaving TN....from a head coach to Saban's lap dog or kicking boy because if things go bad at bammer, HE will be blamed for it. Personally, I'm glad he left...he should have never been hired at TN. He was unscrupulous and dishonest in many ways and we do not need someone like that directing our program. Let's bide our time and hold our tongues until we get past Saturday. Hopefully, we will be competitive on the field and put the focus there. Our players and coaches do not need the distraction of hearing and seeing fans acting like idiots! We need to support our team and act as fans like we expect our players to act....with class!

I was glad to see him go at the time and am glad he left as quickly as he did.

The only fans who got upset were the ones that thought he was competent. I didn't happen to be part of that club.

If only Dooley had left as quickly!

It's his right and your right to quite your job anytime you want to if you are old enough to work yet.

I think he nailed it. Need to move on and get over the hurt feelings. Coaching is a profession. I don't care what they say, it's a job and they typically do not have the same level of allegiance to any one school as the fans and students of the school. The only time they have the same allegiance to the school is while they are coaching for that school. When a better gig comes along, that's their new bride. Just the way it is.

I don't think anyone would even care that much if it weren't for the fact that he probably would have won here and his departure opened the door for Dooley. It's past time to let it go.

I've heard some really bad things chanted at games before, normally not at Neyland, but this person should get some chants directed solely at him. Let him have it!

I think the Pride should play the USC fight song & Tusk... LOL gotta keep the Weasel in perspective of his history... just those little things that are noticed mentally...
