Lane Kiffin Article by Chris Low on ESPN SEC Blog

we have NO SHOT at Cowher. Why would he come to us when the Browns job and Cincinnati jobs both goig to be open in the pros at the end of the year. We have a better chance at changing our school colors.

If he became head coach in Cleveland, he'd be dead within the hour.

Cowher may be waiting for the Cowboys job---Wade Phillips will be fired at the end of this season and jason garrett's been a big bust as OC. Jerry Jones would pay him whatever he wanted to take the Dallas job.

Absolutely nowhere in that article does Butch Davis say " I am not interested in the UT job".....if you found it in there, please copy and paste the quote. As has been said a MILLION times, he said what any coach would way in the middle of a successful season at another school.

Yea i agree. Butch will deny interest to keep the peace....for now... Tuberville lied to Ole Miss & Satan Saban to tha fish team ! I wish i knew someone who knew someone who knew Hamilton. We need the scoop !

Imagine if we had this as our D-line coach.

He'd be a recruiting madman. Check him out in action.

I wonder if Vols fans would have a more positive outlook on Kiffin if he'd never gone to the Raiders. Yeah, he wasn't ready to be a head coach in the NFL, and having that nutjob owner as his first boss was putting him on third and long before he even got started. But if you look at his resume without the "failure" of his experience with the Raiders, he looks to me like a IDEAL candidate.

The downside, if any, would be the idea that he might treat the UT job as a stepping stone, or a way of proving himself before he gets another shot in the NFL. But for him to be successful in that quest he'd have to do some great things at Tennessee, and I'm all for that.

I like gruden dont get me wrong.but if and thats a big if he did take the job,how long could we expect him to stick around?two years later somebody from the nfl comes to him, with a big offer he gos then what?

You would need an interpreter to understand him.

Any staff with Orgeron doing anything more than recruiting should be avoided like the plague.

Hyaawhhyawwhhyaawhhyaawhhyaaaaawwwhhhhyaaaaaww, hyaaaawwh, hyaaaawh... Brent Schaffuh.

Yea, but imagine him and BP ripping their shirts off. They would be the new Road Warriors.
