Clay Travis said something on Twitter about Kiffin trying to dodge the recruiting question about Coach O calling our recruits. I said something along the lines of it reminding me of Bill Clinton's "it depends on the definition of is".

His reply:

Regarding Clinton and the definition of "is" similarity in the presser. That isn't the only thing he and Kiffin have in common.

Well so it doesn't come out in on TMZ I too at 20 years old was DUI. I didn't get caught. Just thought something that happened over a decade ago might come up and become a big deal.:eek:lol:....I hang my head in shame.

Anything that puts Kiffin in a negative light is both good and DOES matter given that many of our recruits are now considering USC.... open your eyes

Well I posted a couple months back something I had heard but it was deleted within 2 minutes. I'll post it again in hopes that it isn't deleted.

Ok, my dad's bosses son either owns or is something higher up with the Lexus of Knoxville place. Well, when Kiffin was first hired apparently he was given a $96,000 Lexus by UT. Around the first night with it he took a girl out (not Layla, obviously) and returned it to be repaired by the dealership after doing thousands of dollars worth of damage to the interior of the car (what or how the damage occurred I don't know). I just know that this guy really hated Lane Kiffin for supposedly doing this. I'm not saying it's true but it's definitely believable, and that guy would have no reason to make it up.

Could this be the same thing the OP is referring to? Maybe, I'm not sure. I'd say that in Kiffin's UT contract it would say if he received a Lexus or not, though, for people who are fact checking. I'm not sure if 100% of this story is true but that's what all I remember from what my dad told me.

So you think maybe they picked up some stray cats and they went potty in there or something? Maybe Kif gets nervous around girls and cuts upholstery? I think we have went past rumor to gossip.

I have no idea...that's just what I was told. I'm thinking it was more like something sexual or alcohol being dumped all in the car, but nobody told me what caused the damage...just that the event happened.

Interior damage? NPH just gave Herold and Kumar $200 and paid for their White Castle. That should cover it.

Just read his contract said he was loaned two cars...didn't say what brand just said they were similar to what the other head coaches get. Maybe this will break in a couple days since it seems like Clay Travis was hinting toward something similar already...then we will know more of the story. I am just posting what I heard back in October or November.

i stayed at the crowne plaza and watched the team go to the bus. there was a nice silver lexus that followed, but was brought back about 20 minutes later and a young guy with ut gear got out (red head guy). this was behind the hotel and not the front or garage. wouldn't be surprised.

Didn't he supposedly fall asleep or something driving home because he "stayed at the office to late"? This was a while back but I wonder if this could be it?

So let me get this straight. Lane had someone call recruits while they were on another campus and he is a USC coach. Now that's just cheating. The Bastach.
