I'm sure he designed and built the desk. Wouldn't be surprised if Kiffin uses the same desk.

If Im not mistaken, Kiffin doesn't like it. Maybe even got rid of it. Feels it doesn't put him on the same level as the people he is talking to.

Good luck Lamarcus.

What is it with people and weed? Why would you potentially pass up millions of dollars just to get high? Anyway, I hope the best for him. He is an amazing player.

they're 18-20 year olds and they're at college...almost everyone does it at some point or another

This story makes me wonder what would have been with Coker and countless others if Fulmer had been willing to put underclassmen in bigger roles.

Coker became the starter after like the 3rd game or so his freshman year and then played until the 3rd quarter Alabama game where he got injured for 6 weeks when tackled on a kickoff return (which is why you dont do that with the starters). When he go healthy again, he immediately started at the RB position the last few games

The next season though he had his trouble with weed and was suspended for the Cal game (and maybe one or two more?) and then after this was like his 3rd thing that had happened to him (something academic before bowls did as well) the staff decided he had to earn his starting job back - (he was the one who had the big trick play touchdown against UGA). However later in the season he had more problems again (more pot) and eventually had to be left off the team.

But they had Coker as starting RB for most of the season (with the later blank games being because of injury), returning the kickoffs for the team, and he ended up the leading rusher as well.....with this guy, for once it was that Fulmer and the staff put this guy in the big roles, almost from the beginning

He played very well at Hampton this year, admittedly a ton of rungs below the SEC in terms of competition. Hampton has a reputation of taking troubled athletes, giving them a second chance and getting production from them.

I'd like to see the Titans pick him up with a 4th or later rd pick...as a backup to CJ and as a punt/KO returner. If CJ get's hurt, he could still give the Titans similar speed an Homerun capability.

That's a great thought, TENNacious. I would LOVE to see him here in Music City steppin' 'em off. If he lights up the combine with a sub-4.3 forty, my guess is he'll be gone long before the 4th round. Still, a very well-thought out post. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Who cares what Coker does? What did he ever do for UT...except put them in a bad situation. He should have been smart enough to know better.

Dude, a hell of a lot of us care about him and others like him, as well. You never made any mistakes at 18 or 19??? He took the results of his stupidity and turned his life around, big time. Read the article, for Christs sake and THEN say "who cares".
