Lamarcus Coker suspension

Meyer didn't wait for another positive test. He tossed Thomas -- who was WAY more significant to his team than Coker -- off the team for breaking his word and missing a single counseling session.

Whatever happens, no Volsfan can ever criticize Meyer ever again for the Thomas situation.

Still defensive after all these years . . . :p

wrong, until all the facts are in we can do all the finger pointing we want

Even after the facts are in, I still reserve the right to become indignant toward the Gators whenever it is convenient.

I think Fulmer should suspend him for LL, reinstate him for Arkansas, suspend him for Vandy, and then reinstate him for Kentucky. I think thats the correct way to do it in Florida's eyes.

Anyone know when the results are suppose to be in for the wee wee test???

But, I will stick by what I said earlier in that it shouldnt matter what the results are...He's been given to many chances, time to cut ties with him..

Untrue for a couple of reasons. A) This problem seems to have just been discovered... although it is suspiciously convenient that the next game after the discovery is ULL. B) Thomas' punishment wasn't the next game or even anything close. Wasn't UM given the choice of which game to suspend him for?

Lastly, Coker should be gone for missing these sessions. It just goes to prove that regardless of how good UT has been to them he just won't respect the rules, his teammates, his coaches, or the Vol nation.

I don't know if putting him out is an option or if there is a specific rule that says he only gets a one games suspension... but if there is such a rule, it needs to be changed. When a guy fails to convert on 4th down... the reason shouldn't matter.

BTW, unless Thomas was UF's only real threat at KR or DL for that matter... your statement is untrue about his value. Coker has given UT about 10 extra yards on KO returns than they were getting earlier.

Also, in Coker's defense without his return last Saturday we probably don't beat Carolina....He should still be off the team though, just MO..

Whichever mod merged this, A)thank you B) that was fast and C) you stole my insidious post!

Faster than a speeding spammer... It's.... MergeMan!!!

I should switch my avatar to this:

What a waste. Coker you were fast... But you're an idiot. Threw it away for pot. Some people don't appreciate anything.
