Well I guess its time I got back to Knoxville, I chucked the "rock" 66 yards, a month ago in the GA Dome. It was a charity thing, but it felt good to let it go in front of the Falcons coaches ! Lots of "high5's" NO $$$$

Don`t write this guy off to quick, He threw for 3500 yards and 39 touchdowns in JC last year, Crompton and Stevens could not do this in high school!

Once he learns the system and how WR's run their routes he'll be fine. The guy threw for 3900 yds last year. He was comfortable in the system and once he gets ours down he'll be fine.

Lamaison might eventually be a good player for the Vols. He has proven that he can play at an above high school level. However, he has a long way to go to learn the Vols system. So while you cannot write him off now, you also can't expect him to be the savior until he has proven himself at least in practice.

wouldnt it be great if we had casey clausen still playing qb

Absolutely. Casey won some big games----01 @ UF and 5 ot thriller vs bammer. Funny how you don't miss em till they're gone. I put Casey just below Manning in the best recent passing qbs at UT category.:hi:

Everything I've heard about Lamaison is he's got a live arm, possible best of the current group, have no idea about game management, intelligence, etc.

He made one throw in the scrimmage i went to. I've seen better throws made in pee wee football. If that was his best throw, not close to the others as far as arm strength.

his throw was a pick 6 for a TD.

I heard 20. We are doomed.

You cant be that dumb to believe that. Why even make a comment. These comments just piss me off because all your doing is talking crap. Seriously..look at the videos and you can see the arm strength of this kid. I assure you its more than 25 yards. Give the guy a break. You dont just throw for the kind of yardage and touchdowns he did by just being able to throw 25 yds and not being any good. The JC he attended was one of the top JC's in the country. I would like to see Crompton or Stephens have that kind of year in a JC. Dont think they would even come close..Give Lamaison a chance...

I personally will never doubt Lamaison's heart or tenacity. I seen how serious he is in practices and how badly he wants to prove himself every single time he steps into the gridiron whether practice or games...

If he's going thru struggles, he will come through ... there is no doubt.
