Lakers vs. Celtics

I hate Pats fans much, much more. I just can't stand them. I tried to watch the Pats and like them once I got up here, and the fans quickly made me regret that. \

I agree 100%. I've lived in New England my entire life, other than a few forays here and there, and honestly couldn't have named a dozen pats fans until their run started. Now everyone walks around like jackasses with their jerseys.

Been a Sox fan forever, and the pink hats get annoying, but that comes with just about any team that is successful. I'll let everyone who figures i'm on a bandwagon just stay bitter, it doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

I feel like a natural Red Sox fans because I've hated the Yankees for as long as I can remember...but I didn't start following them until I knew I was going to be moving up here...which happened to be their first World Series year....a fortuitous time to start following them :)

I live in Arlington...I'm in Waltham all the time...Pizzeria Unos there has NTN trivia..which I'm a big fan of (not so much Pizzeria Unos...though I do like the regular bartender there).

Paul Pierce just carrying his flopping to the extreme. Nobody flops as much as he does.

The Celtics seem to be the favorite team of the 30+ year old white males who have been disenfranchised with the NBA around the last decade. As you know, that's the key demographic of sports fans. Guys who consider all today's NBA stars "thugs" and would prefer to sit around and watch Larry Bird games on ESPN Classic.

Except for the thugs thing, this is pretty much me. I was an 80s Celtic fan, and when Lenny Bias died it seemed my NBA attention span did as well. The Jordan years were captivating, but still didn't compare to the way I followed those Celtics of my youth. In January I bought a new Celtics cap. Felt good to have a team in Boston I could take pride in again...

Tyler Hansbrough is pissed.

He's going to spend the next few months in the gym, falling down repeatedly, working to get better so that he wil one day make you eat those words.

Hansbrough doesn't count. I'm talking about basketball players.

Well, as a kid there was no such thing as DI-A football here, so i rooted for Johnny Majors on saturdays because he seemed like a nice guy.

When i joined the Army, all my friends were from various SEC states, so i picked up the UT flag and carried it onward.

Not all the media, just Disney. I've seen on other sites like SI.com and listened on Fox Sports radio where folks are seriously questioning the Miraculous Healing of Paul.

I'll agree with that to a point Mills. I really do think they do need a win tonight to bring it home. It should be a fun game man.
