Both Crompton and Stephans have had a chance to go over this systems in the spring. Nicholas is just getting his first taste of it. I wouldn't make any snap judgements in the first few days. Realistically unless Crompton and Stephans fall on their face. Nicholas will probably redshirt and have 3 years of eligibility left to have a really good run at it next year. Although I think Lamaison is better then those 2. He's won almost everyway he's went. His success in JUCO is well documented but he even won a championship in popwarner for the West Covina Bruins and got to meet the Mayor of the city.
There's probably not a lot of difference in all of their arms. Where Lanaison excells is his leadership and his ability to read defenses and go through his progressions refusing to force the football, but checks down to the next receiver in the progression. This evedent when you look at his stats and watching him play. Almost 3500 yrds 36 touchdown and only 8 ints.
Forget his height. He patterns his game afer Drew Brees. He makes good decisions with the football he doeesn't turn it over. He makes all the throws has a quick release. Never stares down a receiver prides himself on looking off the safeties. Tennessee's lucky to have him. He wasn't sure he was going to be eligible for the SEC academically so his tape was released late and most didn't know he was available. Credit Lane Kiffin with his aggressive recruiting to go to other states and grab kids to go to Knoxville. Lane's value is already becoming evident and he and Nicholas Lamaison will do big things at Tenneessee. Volnation should be thrilled I know I am
