For me, it all goes back to our hitters hunkered down, bat in hand, watching meekly as strike three crosses the plate...

I just saw that Callahan was a junior. I thought she was a senior. We needed about one more hit from her or pretty much anybody else. I think everybody but Fulmer's daughter at some point had a chance to drive in a run to win the title.

Monica is definitely not to blame at all...i'd say about 7-8 mons worth of batting pratice should do the trick.

It's still a disapointment that we were shut out of a title during Monica's 4 years. Two thirds and a second place finish aint bad though.

Well atleast we won it in 98. We had so many NFL bound players on that team it wasn't even funny. We were loaded that year.
