The Lady Vols were up on Ole Miss 66-39 with 5:24 remaining when the game was called due to unsafe playing conditions resulting from severe weather.

The game was never in doubt. Both coaches met and decided to end the game if it was OK per SEC admins. Or, SEC was called first. Not sure of exact sequence. But, yeah. Indoor basketball game called because of rain. First for me. I would like to have seen the last 5+ minutes played so the bench could get more PT. But, not worth a possible injury to anyone.

I wanted to see how much more they could score. Lady Vols are playing their best since '08, imo

it seriously has to be a logistical nightmare for any coach going up against TN. other teams you have a main star to guard....baylor has two MAIN threats...Conn. is fairly well balanced like us....but seriously the Lady Vols on any given night, any one of our 8 or 9 girls could be a dominating force....and right now, they are all playing seriously good defense, and are super great in transition.

I worry about the random night where no one shows up, no ones shots are falling....and a beast defense team shuts down our half court offense...we shoot a TON of jumpshots....those two things I can see happening to this team still.

Sort of happened in the Vandy game. LV's score 15 first half points. Pat "talks" to them at the half and they score 50 in the second half.

It was a fun game. Lots of Vol fans there and nobody even knew the weather was severe till the roof started leaking.
