She’s getting back in with programs that have not had much interest in TN. Have to be in the short list for GA Impact, Lady Dukes, Vipers, EC Bullets, Fury Platinum and TN Mojo kids.... not the franchise teams but the PGF contender teams.

Agree to an extent but getting the 7 batter of those teams means nothing. Aside from 1-2 teams in each of those programs age divisions they’re all pretty mediocre. Instead of recruiting programs they should be scouting players. The Fury /Ga Impact thing works if you’re getting the Ace and the best hitter.
Example. TN and Alabama have pitchers from the same HS and class. Guess who has the better one who,btw, hits.

Agree on the top tier kids that was why I stated not the franchise teams. Coaches know which ones are legit and which ones are the lower tier of each age.

I think you need to look up the definition of “opinions.” You commented on a player’s weight. Your comment was incorrect. I pointed that out. You see, weight is an actual, measurable number that can be quantified by stepping on a scale and having it recorded. To ensure their health and safety, players are frequently measured. Her measurement has not changed. That is not an opinion, it is a measurable fact.

Therefore, your presentation saying that she had gained 25 pounds is not your “opinion,” as you are now trying to pass it off, it is an incorrect statement. And everyone knows it’s incorrect, because they measure these kids frequently. Several of us, including one of her family members, have tried to gently and now not so gently tell you that you’re wrong, and you continue to double down.

Not a good time to mention LSU has maybe the best pitcher the last decade to come out of Tennessee committed for the class of 2022. Sydney Berzon from
Chattanooga Baylor committed in 8th grade, came down to Florida and LSU.

Understandable. Behind Gasso at OU, Torina knows pitching and is one of the nicest, most genuine, down to earth people in the game. If I had a daughter who was an ace pitcher and academic reputation was not a factor in her school choice it would be LSU all day long.

Coach Smith can turn it around on the mound but they’re going to need to change their hitting approach to capitalize on the way the game has trended since their hayday

To say that hitting is the quickest way to turn a program around with recruiting the way it is and pitchers gobbled up several classes in advance. Both are important though

There is a big difference in their hitting approach since son weekley is there . we have as we should have gone awayfrom the slappers even though i have seem every game available and not one time has a batter been called out for out of the box when many have been very much out. Jury is out about Mark getting it done but if Karen already has some one picked out when Ralph retires is puzzeling. We need some RH hitters who are big enough to drive the ball ! Every SEC team has some but we do not best i remember. JMHO!

I agree with that based on how many teams are preseason ranked ahead of us. And the emergence of Clemson and Duke starting programs will add more challenges in recruiting.

I agree sir! DeerPark posted earlier! Karen will continue on as head coach, I don't expect Marc to be on staff unless he continues on as a volunteer. Karen already has someone in mind for hitting coach when she fully takes over.

Whoever that person is must be better than Marc in her thoughts! I would give him the chance to stay on myself in some capacity. He has done it all and i am sure could help in many ways but who am i to say. I think Megan is going to get us back in the pitching game but she has to have the time to do it. This new coach has to be able to help recruit because Karen is m ore abrasive now more than ever and with Ralph gone to be the good guy recruiting seal the deal person has to have some personality! WE are at best middle of the pack now and i dont know if we finish 500 or not but i sure hope so.

Nope, not going to happen. UT continues to slip mostly due to coaching not adapting in hitting or pitching. Also marginal recruiting at the pitching spot. Slapping is dead and UT coaches obviously either didn't get the memo or are to pigheaded to change. Newsflash for them they need better pitching and a one horse won't do it.

They have Parsons at the 9 hole who slaps on occassion and that is it. That is not their game but you already know that as much as you act like you know it all! Every team in the land needs better pitching but there is just so much elite pitchers !

They really are swinging away more and Kiki or keekee is a flat out stud hitter. Not sure what happened to the Mcrary kid but she has a rep for having a big bat. If you cant outpitch them you better out hit them.

I would hire Amanda Lorenz immediately. She brings notoriety and would make an immediate impact on the recruiting trail. Last but not least shes a young successful woman who is arguably one of the best hitters for average to play in the Sec.
