She’s gassed. Her velocity is 5-7 mph below her average. The inability of this coaching staff to recruit and/or develop a competent second pitcher may have just cost us the season.

I get dancing with who brung ya, but you have to turn to someone else. Particularly because you will have to eventually. There are two more games for them to play if they win this one.

The other thing that's sort of surprising about the strategy is that softball allows you to pull people and put them back in.

You know your other pitchers are pretty bad when your only good pitcher's arm is about to fall off and they still won't take her out. Desperation is what we are seeing.
