i liked it without a broadcaster the sound was excellent and the PA announcer was enough to know who was at the plate. The view pitcher to catcher was fantastic but cameras are still slow to pick up the action off the bat and see the play made in the field.

Well if memory serves correct (not a sure thing with me) she is a notorious slow starter plus she missed fall ball with the leg. Mostly we hit the ball well with the slappers and Ally being the exception overall. Ally hit fine the first game but the second she could not pick the ball up off that pitcher. It happens sometimes. What's the point of slapping in today's game if they are not getting on at a higher rate than the rbi batters? My opinion is if you are slapping but no rbi threat you better be hitting around .400 like Leach did for years.

i'll keep an eye on the first game today while I'm watching basketball and be around to watch game two. Really encouraged about what I have seen from the team thus far. A lot of depth in pitching we can use Rogers a lot for just five when we got a blowout going and use her to close the tight ones. A little surprised we haven't seen more of Turner but Bailey has pitched well as the second starter.

I hope the majority of our slapping days are over and if memory serves these old body parts the only true slapper is Treasury. Parsons is to some extent and i watched her closely these first two games and even when she tried she pretty much stayed in the box. That team yesterday had every slapper step over the line every time. May not be them emphasis this year but the ump never even took a look as best i could tell. I have not given up on any one but CS still has a sincere habit of taking the first pitch down the middle. I have coached many years never one told any of my players to take a first pitch strike. Just an observation and Ally will be fine!

Playing 6 games in 3 days. Morgan will probably play in the second game today. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shipman sit the second game today, especially if we win the first. I agree with having Morgan DH in the first.

Not sure why they pulled Turner unless she was on a pitch count. We are going to have to get the bats going.

No she is not and they sent her promptly to the bull pen. That ump squeezed her on the last two pitches that looked like strikes!

Going to have to come from behind think that was a bad move to take Turner out after that walk. Umpire has one of the smallest strike zones ever Turner should've got one of those calls although both were strikes.
