June 1, 2007
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Severe thunderstorms began moving through the Oklahoma City, Okla., area at approximately 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday evening forcing Women's College World Series officials to call the Washington and Northwestern squads in off the warm-up fields and delay the two squads' opening contest that was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
The latest information provided to Tennessee officials has the first winner's bracket match-up beginning at approximately 7:15-7:30 p.m. CT. That will push the start time for the Tennessee-Arizona contest back from its previously scheduled 8 p.m. CT start to perhaps 9:30 or later.
