I know geer hit a HR against florida but I have never liked her swinging in the 2nd hole. She does not have a good eye, swings at balls and watches strikes go by. I say Gregg there and geer in 4th hole.JMHO

About as good as we could hope for...now let's see if we can hold this lead. I know it will give Matty a boost to have a lead to work with.

Bearden was supposed to be our starting first baseman this year and was in a terrible slump early in the season and got replaced by Rowland who hit for a while then went into her own terrible slump.

Geer almost had that one more biscuit for breakfast and another grand slam.

Most inconsistent umpire I have seen in a while some of those pitches low in the zone are strikes and some are balls in the same location.

Got another run Bearden has been a real hero today with her two hits. Now we need three up and three down.

Not to argue but I did not recall Bearden playing any in games at 1st base so I went back and looked at the schedule and did not find any she started there until recently. Vines started at 1st while they were playing Holcomb in left field. Rowland was given the chance to take it but she could not and has not hit. Bearden should be there the rest of the year based on her performance today IMHO!!:loco::loco:
