Not making fun of him; just noted that he too was having a tough game. I'm sure he's a nice young man, but he sure could use some mentoring.

i believe he is doing most of the broadcasting with out much help and he doesn't have a Yankee accent,which is a big plus lol

I'm a big fan of the Weeklys but I must question their handling of Gabriel. I know she's struggled at times this year--but they have given her no rope at all. As soon as she has problem, it seems, they yank her. Sometimes a pitcher needs to be replaced--but sometimes, especially early in a career and early in a season, you need to let pitchers push through tough spots and tough innings. That's how you develop mental toughness. I fear they are rapidly destroying her confidence with all these quick pulls.

Good grief: It is hard to pitch knowing that you're going to get pulled if you run into trouble. You start thinking more about that than the game and the hitters you are facing. Did they pull her after the home run? If so, I would say that it was an especially bad decision, as with the bases empty you have a chance to let her compose herself and regroup. Sometimes you gotta let a player take his or her lumps in the hope that she will grow.

I agree completely. According to the play by play they replaced her after she walked the first hitter of the 2nd.
