There are a lot of fans here who have unrealisticly high expectations from the freshmen. Though the team is going in the right direction, there will be plenty of speed bumps along the way.
I don't expect a team with 3 freshman starters to make the final four.
Next year, with Nared and Russell graduating, we'll have Westbrook, Davis and Hayes along with Green/KK and Jackson (and a couple of more very talented freshman on the bench).
Enough for a final 4 ? It will be close. Notre Dame gets Turner back.
Baylor will have Brown and Cox. Texas will also have a lot of talent up front. I think the breakthrough will be two years away (2019-2020) when the roster will be filled with Juniors and Sophomores. Does Holly have that much time ?

Pat’s teams would have beaten Marquette by 30. Next I know, you folks are going to be telling me that was a very good 0-3 Wichita State team we barely beat at home last week.

Holly Warlick=Butch Jones in a pantsuit

All I read here is, "give 'em time"; "bad officiating"; "it's early in the season"; "championships are not won in November"; "they will come together"; "it was just one game". All I know is this; I do not like the ESPN Huskies, but they never, ever, offer any excuses like this, because they always win. They never have an off game. The never let bad officiating beat them. They come together before the first game and they stay together. They win championships from the first game. The difference is that Holly Warlick=Butch Jones in a pantsuit.

No, they should have fired her 2 years ago but until she obtains Fulmer status, being tired of losing year after year, they won't fire her.

Poor choice of words there.

Fans who accept an embrace mediocrity is why the program has tanked and became nationally irrelevant while programs like SC are winning national championships and leading the nation in attendance.

If you keep running off the fans who actually care, there’s only going to be 10 of you guys left in the stands at TBA.

Personally, i would rather have 10 true fans who rout for Holly and her Team than a bunch hoping for something to complain about every post. A post on players announcing their committment become a fire Holy opportunity. Cancer was indeed the right word.

Have we taken into consideration that we are depending Upon three freshmen, a great percentage of the time, to keep our heads above water? I have my doubts about Holly, however, she needs more than six games to start yelling, “Kick her out.” These freshmen have not matured and Green needs a few more games, though last night she looked very good down the stretch and the freshmen held their own.

I wonder how many programs with a number one recruiting class making contributions; a top 5 recruiting class on the way; and a 5-0 opening season record would have fans calling for the head coach to be fired.

If the LVs were 0-5 maybe but these posts make no sense. It like, "facts be damned, I just don't like Holly."

Exactly how much do you think you're accomplishing being a beligerent cry baby?

We get that you believe Holly has hurt you in some way and you are deflecting your anger onto the rest off us who simply want to support the team and discuss games while not having to get spammed by the "Holly sucks" comments for the trillionth time. As I've said before, the Holly hate comments add nothing to the conversations anymore because of how constant they are. Some of us try to let positive occurrences guide us instead of making ourselves miserable.

I hope your Thanksgiving sucked and your Turkey was dry. Good day ma'am.

Wow!!! Were winning and people are still complaining. I guess we'll never be 100 percent as a fanbase behind any team. These freshmen have done a marvelous job thus far this season. A huge transition from high school to WCCB play and they have managed it well.

Of course there are a few problems and why wouldn't there be these players have only played together for five games. What I am seeing is a team that could be dominate by the end of the season. Only a few things need to be corrected and were winning by 20 against good teams.
The offense is solid. The defense only fair. As the defense progresses this team starts winning by larger margins.

Yes, it is fans who are the root cause of your consternation. We are the ones who cheer on the team. We are the ones who stand behind the team whether they win or lose. We are the ones who offer constructive criticism. We are the ones who are patient as the team develops an identity. We are the ones who reject your failed leadership attempts and opinions. Yes, we are a problem for you.

Tennessee is not nationally irrelevant nor are they mediocre. You on the other hand......
