Hey anybody knows whos on the Lady Vols softball class of 2018. Thanks. Im very avid fan of the Lady Vols softball.

There's a thread: Lady Vols picked fifth in SEC in softball.

Go post in it and some of the softball fans will see it. We have some very knowledgeable ones in the forum.

I think Tennessee's recent string of success against Top 5 teams will help them tremendously in recruiting for the next 2 classes.

I sure hope so, and some other SEC schools as well. nothing better than a good rivalry. I believe Mississippi St. will fall off in a year or two.

If SC doesn't get another Wilson-esque player in 2018 and Grisette/Williams do not become stars, then SC will drop off the map once Wilson, Gray and Davis leave town.

MSU is losing a ton after this year, but still has a good core of Williams, Vivians and McCowan to get through next season. Can't imagine that the recruits are a lining up to play in Starksville, so I agree that they will come back down to earth in 2018-2019.

He got arkansas gaurd that transferred they will stay in top 15 . in years coming they have two good recruits coming. gaurds. South carolina will be tough they will not fall off. They have good recruits coming next year as well. And I hear that Olivia likes them alot

It will be interesting when Vivians leaves after next year. She is their team. Dillingham et al are good players and tough kids, but I think when Vivians leaves they will not be able to sustain the level. That said, however, imo he is a great coach so who knows; I may be surprised...won't be first time:p.

Dawn got "lucky" in that there was some very high level talent in SC that decided to stay home and build something. Now she has a foundation to recruit girls from other states, and her work as an international team coach seems to have paid off big time. Only thing I've ever felt she skirted ethics on, took advantage of that situation (as in Te'a got shorted). But that's just my opinion and I am admittedly prejudiced...orange glasses you know. Overall I think she is an excellent coach and will continue being successful. Carolina is a great program and beautiful places to live. Smiling faces you know:yes:.

Edit: corrected name. Thanks, Jeff:thumbsup:

Through 21 game Rennia Davis is averaging 25.9 ppg and 10.0 rebounds per game 3.6 assists and 2.9 steals. She is shooting 63 percent from the field overall and 38 percent from the three. She is making 78 percent at the free throw line. She has score 2112 total points in her high school career. She has made 38 percent of her three point shots 111 of 295 and 56 percent of her field goals 859 of 1542 attempts. It has been a while since we had a player coming in to Tennessee with these type of offensive numbers.
I know Diamond and Jaime scored a lot of points but their shooting percentages were around 40 percent.

What a class Tennessee has coming in next year. If the big 3 come back Jaime Nared for sure and hopeful Diamond DeShields and Mercedes Russell we could have the big 5 or more.

If I had to make a bet I would bet DD and MR come back next year. Both would be fools to leave with what we have back and coming in I think. Unless they are unhappy and ready to move on!! I am going with BE BACK!!!:boobies::boobies:

I'm not sure where DD and MR are academically but I'm sure they don't wanna leave early without a degree and break the 100% grad rate. Sure they can always come back and finish but has there been a LV that went early to the WNBA before graduating first?

Both have redshirted so they will still have their degrees this year
