That is a typical attendance at GT. I go to a few games a year there and the most I've seen is when they play the Lady Vols. The next biggest crowd I've seen was a game with UNC. The crowd may have been 1,500 to 2,000 that day and quite a bit was Carolina blue. There are quite a few Tarheel fans in the ATL. You go to GT for the school. You don't go there just to play women's basketball. The fan support just isn't there, but winning would change that as we have seen at South Carolina.618 fans attended GT's last game,![]()
Well, if Davis doesn't decide today, I guess we'll have to wait until April as today is the last day of the early signing period.

Today is just the last day for signing NLI for early signing. She doesn't have to announce.
It's really not that big of a deal if she doesn't announce today. Yes, it's nice to have it in writing, but it's not the end of the world. I believe she will announce a verbal well before the spring. She isn't a drama player, no drama parents, so when she verbals, it will be her word and she will sign her NLI in the spring to that school. You gotta believe Maryland is in her ear like no other right now, along with us and GT, Kansas and Oklahoma. She's a torn girl. Give her time, and let her make the right choice for herself! Maryland recruiting tactics are not rumor, their are truth in them folks.
For her not to have committed somewhere I'm starting to wonder if she will bring to much drama to the table. AKA Jalen Hurd. Maybe I'm wrong. Hopefully I'm wrong. But we don't need a distraction like that. And maybe she just has to many people in her ear trying to get her to do what they want. Who knows. But I hope we get some news soon either way.
Yup Brenda (Snake) Freese would do whatever it takes to land who she wants.
How do posters on here pretend to know Maryland's recruiting tactics? Frese does seem a tough woman--but recruiting isn't a garden party and I doubt anyone on here knows what she tells recruits. If some are suggesting that she's negative about other programs, well, that's part of how the game is played. It isn't the nicest side of the game, to be sure--but it's a tough business. It's sour grapes, much like we talk about Geno.
Does Maryland even have enough room? Also, how is it living in the DMV? Even after how successful Maryland has been, fans really don't show support. They have to put up long curtains at some games to hide all the empty seats in their arena. I hope she does not go there.

I know because I have seen them in action. I know a few young ladies locally who have (got away) that didn't want to play for her and most of the local AAU coaches aren't referring their players to her which says a lot.
Last year was the first year she has gotten girls from the DMV to really stay home. Kaila Charles was the first one (2016) since Marrisa Coleman (2004) which says a lot (Brionna Jones and her sister doesn't count because they are just outside of Baltimore). The local coaches (High School, Club, and AAU) know a lot about her and her tactics and many of them aren't selling their kids to her program.
The fact that she continuously called Candace during her freshman year at Tennessee and actively tried to get her to transfer is all I need to know about her tactics. A call from Pat is all that was needed to put a stop to it. Brenda can kick rocks for all I care.
