me too! If we land her ND could be looking at possibly a bad class for their standards in recent years (if they don't land Westbrook or Walker either) as they would only bring in Mikayla Vaughn, she isn't a bad player but she isn't at the level of a Turner or Boley whom they got as Post players the past 3 or so seasons.

I personally don't give to get too issh how notre dame class works out . no one cared about us , so why are we concerned.

Trust me it isn't a concern at all, I'm just noting how it seems like a lot of the programs that you are use to seeing snagging the top talent doesn't seem to be this year and that players are taking on schools that you normally wouldn't expect to get a top player in a sense.

Hope it's a wonderful celebration! I considered making the trek to Queens but it's a bit far for a midday excursion. Excited to see what she decides.

I hope that will be what seals the deal. Don't want to get my hopes up but I see that you are very close to the family and would have a little insight. I will be checking my phone at 3pm. Will there be any sort of footage of the event?

Thanks! It seems like it would be a shock it it wasn't TN or Notre Dame. These two have seemed like the frontrunners. I worry about how much the Parker connection will come into play. I hope it is a major factor and gives us the edge.

#1 player in 2017 Megan Walker....making her announcement on Nov 10th! Same day as Westbrook I believe.....interesting....or maybe not! Lol I hope they both don't decide on ND, along with Patterson.

That would be crazy but I think Walker is Texas and Westbrook will attend ND with possibly Patterson. If Westbrook goes to ND I think we land Michaela O for sure. 3pm and Next Thursday couldn't get her fast enough and Michaela O could be any day now. Does anyone know if Rennia Davis is still scheduled to visit this weekend? We could possibly know and have our 2017 class all done in the early signing period and be moving on to the 2018 class.

I don't understand this board's obsession with where Walker goes? I could careless. If the players we are still pursing want to come to TN, they will. It has absolutely nothing to do with Walker.

I don't think it is an obsession per say but I do think players may have people in their ear who are impacting their decision and these decisions aren't truly theirs. If they really want to come to any school they should go to the school that they truly choose but as we have seen before some people are told what school to go to by outside influences and it isn't per say the top school of choice so Walker's decision could be a factor in Westbrook's and vice versa. If they have decided they don't want to play together and they both decide on lets say ND and then Walker announces an hour before Westbrook, Westbrook could then change her mind and decide she wants to go elsewhere.

My point is no one knows if they want to play together or not, It's all just guessing. Most say Westbrook is going to MD. Most said Walker would commit to ND on her visit. If Westbrook and Walker want to play together they will. If either changes their mind based on the other, they didn't what to go to that school in the 1st place. Frankly, I think the impact of Walker's decision has been overblown for weeks.

I don't think anyone is obsessed where Walker goes.....people on this board has indicated that her decision MAY or MAY not influence our recruits decisions. Like you said in another post NO ONE knows. It was just interesting that they're announcing on the same day.

If Westbrook and Patterson both choose ND, that would be huge for ND. They would then have a good shot at another NC depending on the surrounding players.

I do not see Westbrook and Walker going to the same school.

If we do not get Westbrook or Patterson, I would be happy with one of the two - R. Davis or M. Onyerwere.

Those who know basketball positions, Onyerwere is listed as a 5' 11'' forward, but what position would she play in college.
