What has happened to the lady vol basketball recurting? It seems we can't get a commit from anyone much less a top 100 recurit lately.

Not a hard question to answer...no Pat Summit is what happened.

I did hear that all of our commits were sticking, even after the announcement... So if we haven't done well this yr, it's not completely on Holly.

Hey SLYDELL and ORANGE DEW how do you spell smart ass?

Search Pat Summitt and you can learn of her history and this will provide insight into your recurting question. The Tennessee team is comprised of high school all-Americans. They have none for 2013, but those AA recurits will return soon enough.

Tennessee Lady Vols commit Kaela Davis reopens her recruiting - ESPNHS

Not sure if this was prior to the announcement or not. It's not likely a recruit recommits to the school they were committed to though.

I hope she does change her mind and recommits. This sometimes happens with a coaching change in any sport. Also, from that article....

During the November 2011, early signing period, the Lady Vols signed all three players -- No. 5 Bashaara Graves of Clarksville, Tenn., No. 20 Andraya Carter of Flowery Branch, Ga., and No. 39 Jasmine Jones of Madison, Ala.

I wanted to be That Guy for a change.:p

There's nothing funny about this train wreck about to happen. This is Tennessee. They could have hired virtually anyone. Instead, they hire this joke. Yeah. I guess it is funny to the rest of the NCAA. My bad.

I think you'll find that Holly is no joke. Pat would not turn this program over to anyone that she didn't have full confidence in.

She might can spell it, doesn't mean she can do it. Much rather have an illiterate coach that can recruit, vs. a smart coach that can't. Looks like we got the former.

Oh my gosh, did you mean the latter? (I'm basing this on your 'anti-Holly' posts.)
