The Lady Vols did not take care of the basketball in the Kentucky game. The LV had 17 turnovers from which Kentucky scored 24 points. Kentucky stole the ball 11 times with a Kentucky player having 7 steals alone. The season is nearing the end and the Lady Vols still do not have ball security. Horston is to be complimented as she did not have a turnover and is vastly improved on ball security. Where was the defense of the LV near the end? Harper is not getting the job done as a coach when it comes to ball security.

The Lady Vols are not taking care of the basketball in the Kentucky game...the LV have had 10 turnovers in the first half and Kentucky has had 9 steals, Kentucky has scored 15 points from Lady Vols turnovers....absolutely no ball security. Kyra Elzy is a good defensive coach and has her team stealing the ball and causing turnovers.. Sadly disappointed the the Lady Vols in this game which is only half over.
It appears that Jordan Horston’s passion, hustle, and skill level have all dissipated slowly this season.

Our big's are slow, out of shape, and lack hustle. The two tallest players on the floor getting out rebounded as they stand there flat footed and reach for the ball.

Kentucky tried to hand this game to the LV and we flat out refused to take it due to uninspired play for 3 of 4 quarters. Turnovers, lack of hustle, call it what you will. This team is struggling with limited talent and what will change going forward?

they were not motivated and seemed out of sorts. they have a shot to regroup and thankfully they are still on third place with. a chance to get into second.

The good thing after every loss they have come out like gangbusters and more focused so i have a feeling they will be better prepared and they won’t have long to mull over this loss

IMO it wasn't turnovers that killed us tonight, though obviously they didn't help.

It was craptastic shooting that did us in. Our guards are dismal shooters, especially from distance.

Any coach that doesn't zone the bejesus outta us is should run til they puke.

LOL one thing she does not lack for is passion. Tonight was not the first time the refs have had to warn her.

Decision making and poor shooting remain her bugaboos and always have been. Neither are getting better and that's a big, big concern.

You are correct and she was on the bench for no reason during the flurry of turnovers in the 2nd quarter. You could combine Walker, Salary, and Suarez all together and you would still have a below average point guard. I am still concerned at some of the decisions that that are made during the game as taking Key out and going with a smaller line up for a large portion made no sense to me. It did not help that Davis was out of the game, and we could not drop in a free throw if we had been standing on a ladder beside the goal.

But we are such a bad ball handling team and tend to throw it away when teams pressure us I am more surprised that teams don’t press is from start to finish. Most teams play us in a half court which is our advantage with Key and KK. I wonder sometimes how some of these coaches got their jobs. We have no depth and as a team are slow. A&M may press a lot.

You are not correct, there was a reason. She (Horston) was on the bench bc she yelled at the ref and got called out for it, something she has done before. Very fortunate not to get t'd up. What would Pat have done, ya'll often ask? Exactly what Harper did, yank her arse for some self reflection.

Key was out because she had two fouls, the second one for inexplicably fouling a three point shooter. Again, following Pat's law that 2 fouls in the first half earns you a seat.

You right. Pat would have yanked her. The difference is, Pat would have had a replacement of equal quality to put in. Kelly should have been the one yelling instead of Jordan, but she has no "juice", and the refs ain't paying attention to her. And she definitely can't call on another McDonald's All American riding the pine like when Pat was running thangs.

We had some bad turnovers but the biggest one was the way we shot the ball 35 percent. The foul line 50 percent. We may not have won with Davis but we sure could've used her 1.3 points per shot attempt and her 13 shots per game that she averages. At least if she maintains her average we score 17 more points and it prevents someone else from throwing up a brick.
