Lady vols drop a tough game against florida 5-2 today. Ivy renfroe got off to a tough start but pitched better throughout the game. Lady vols had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 6th with no outs and couldnt score. You can't do that if you expect to beat one of the top teams in the nation. series is tied now 1-1. Tomorrow's game starts at noon.

lady vols lose today as well 1-0. Florida takes the series 2-1. At least it wasn't a sweep. Lady vols are now 15-5 (1-2) overall.

LVs left 11 on base. Tough weekend. They know they really needed to have taken two of these games against Fl at home if they are gonna compete for the SEC title. Ellen Renfroe pitched well enough to win this game. Ivy hasn't really found her consistency groove yet this year, despite tossing a no-hitter in one game. The freshmen pitchers are a no-show so far, but the main problem may be the amount of runners LVs hitters are leaving on base. Warmer weather hopefully will loosen up the LVs best bats.

They can still compete for an sec title...but they're gonna have to do more work. Ivy is disappointing to me this year, however, what frustrates me is if UT wouldn't have left so many players on base, UT takes this series and who knows maybe even sweeps the gators! If they can find a way to not leave so many players on base, this team will be hard to beat! But as of now, this team is disappointing me. But still a lot of ball to be played...most of their schedule is left to be played actually. Lady vols can still get it together.

Wow! 4-1 loss to Arkansas today. One of worst SEC teams. Ivy gives up 4 runs in the 1st inning. I expected much more from this team, but they'll get it together. If nothing else, by the end of the season, Ellen can pitch every game like Monica did. They say a pitchers arm doesn't get tired in softball. Pitching isn't the only problem. I expect a lot more out of our offense, especially with players like Chavanne,Gibson,Shipman,Dodson and Burchell. We got off to a real fast hitting start last year, maybe we'll get a hot finish this year.

Well Arkansas is improving. They're 18-6 I believe or something like that, but I didn't expect UT to lose 1 game to this team. Hopefully today they'll come out and win.
