Vile? Good one... not. Go back to tidefans.com

Shoot the messenger...nice. You Bammers are cheating and CPF caught you and you're mad at him. How about taking responsibility for your actions instead of blaming it on somebody else. Spurrier by all accounts was 20' behind CPF so go play in your red clay trailer park and leave the kids alone.:dance2:

Tuesday reading: Meet Josh Chapman ...

CrimsonConfidential.comJosh Chapman has rotated in behind Terrence Cody at nose tackle.

The topic of the day is Alabama nose tackle Josh Chapman, this week's replacement for ailing starter Terrence Cody.

There are no shortage of Chapman stories from Tuscaloosa today, including this feature of mine in the Press-Register, where I try to introduce fans to player that hasn't received much attention in spite of his regular playing time. ...

"Everybody loves Cody," said Chapman, noting that even his own family members have been worried about the big man.

Chapman, though, is the strongest player on Alabama's team. He benches 485 pounds, and squats in the range of 600, which quarterback John Parker Wilson notes, "He squats more than all my lifts combined."
:the_finger::the_finger:something else,'" left guard Mike Johnson said of Chapman. "He's the strongest kid on the team. He really knows how to hold down the middle." :the_finger:

"crimsonmoon" = red ass.

Mind you, I think Alabama wins this game, but seriously...that's the best name you could come up with?

Wait...sorry...forgot you're a Bama fan.

And "sabannutlicker" was apparently already taken by a Bama fan who beat you here.

go vols.

Seriously, the Vols may make it close, but will not win, unless there is some serious Vol Mojo going on. It is a great rivalry, but I always admitted in the past when the Vols had the better team. I was worried against Ole Miss and Kentucky, but I am not worried about Tennessee. You guys just are not that good this year, sorry. You just are not the same Tennessee this year as years past. Good luck in the future. You can say what you want about the Tide being weak or over rated, but they have proven themselves on the field. It has been the same thing every week, Bama is overrated and they go out and get it done.

I'll tell you that I have never thought they were overrated this season. I think they're very good. That being said, I take great comfort in the fact that a couple days after this game is over, win or lose, you and all the other trolls won't show up for another year. :good!:

He is on defense genius. Obvious in the midst of Tennessee fans, LoL. Bama is going to kill the Vols this year. No prayer guys, give it up. Your optimism is funny.

Did this BAMA fan just insult the intelligence of the Vol Nation?? He needs to check out the "make fun of Bama thread" and perhaps rethink that statement a little bit.

He's no Cody. Not even close but keep thinking that. That kid is a flat out beast and everyone knows it. Ole Miss had plenty of success after he went out.

Admittedly, Chapman is not Cody, but I think many people are writing him off. It is not like he is just seeing action, he has been playing 50% of the snaps all season - sometimes more.

Saying that Ole Miss had "plenty of success" is not entirely factual. Cody is a run stopper, not a pass rusher. Chapman would have been in during passing situations anyway. The Rebels had 158 rushing yards, about half came before Cody was injured...62 on one play before Cody went down. Their average per carry was significantly lower after Cody left the game due to the fact that so many of their yards came on that one play.

Chapman is much faster, but he does not take up 2 gaps the way Cody does. Still, he is probably one of the best DT's in the SEC...he just happens to play behind a future first rounder.

I do not believe one person has done that. everything in this thread refers to him being ok but def. not Cody.

Yeah, u can discredit everything 'Crimsonmoon' has said because of comment #10 and then #11. Note that there is all the proof one needs that this is an illegitimate, illiterate, and illesive child. Enjoy your illgotten fame inbred bammers, for Saturday shall be the day of reckoning for all mouth breathing, checked hat wearing morons and associated ilk. Your early success is illfated and the reaper shall be wearing ORANGE this Saturday...

That is my point. He would start at any school in the SEC, but at Bama he is stuck behind Cody. He is more than "ok," and has been just as effective as TC all season. Cody gets the press because of his size, and many people have pointed to Chapman's strength - which is considerable, but Chapman runs a 4.9 (electronically timed) at over 300#. That is pretty impressive for an interior lineman, and can cause as much problem as the bulk. Its like having another middle linebacker, only he weighs over 300.

A Ferrari F-40 is not as fast a McLaren F1-GT, but it is fast enough.

Get your facts straight.
He turned in Bama for investing 150K and 2 SUV's trying to land Memphis DL Albert Means.

Seriously ask yourself... Would you not do the same?

A little misleading... Other coaches turned in Bama. CPF went the secret witness route. Personally, I think a little cowardly and gives credence to the conspiracy nuts of the world.

Would I have done the same? Yep, but I would have left no doubt in anybody's mind in Alabama that I was the one making the accusation (like Spurrier, Nutt, et al)
