If u didnt hear it u must have been one of the rum soaked morons tripping over everyone.. They played and they played and they still sucked.. Especially after Shaw went down for the 3rd time

Yup, that's me alright. And I absolutely hate it when my team's band does their job and makes an away game feel like a home game. God, that irks me.

I'm reminded of a time years ago at Carolina that the POTSB embarrassed us. During the pregame routine of the South Carolina Band (lets not get into that show), we noticed the members of the Pride were humming the UT "pregame". We were just across the aisle, have no idea if they do this for every road game, as you have to be right there to hear it. Anyway, for whatever reason, when it came to the "Rocky Top" part, they actually played it, then went back to humming. This was at a point the USC band wasn't playing, so maybe that was why they did. Unfortunately what WAS happening was Senior Day, and the POTSB was playing Rocky Top while their seniors were being introduced. I was shocked. Can you imagine how pissed our fans would be if the Vandy or Kentucky bands started playing while our seniors were being introduced?

I thought I had seen it all until I saw this thread....wow, a UT fan complaining about the other team's band....

I think that this speaks volumes about the change in leadership at USC that someone actually noticed the USC band. Maybe next year in Columbia, your band can get even?

Dont count on it. UT band doesnt do that, they lame. lol

I was at the GA game in section A, 5 rows behind the GA band. They did the exact same thing. Totally drowned our band out. I also saw several GA band members taunting Vol fans. Classless IMO. I understand these are kids and their team is winning on the road, but you dont taunt opposing fans in their own stadium.

Maybe your band should play louder. Maybe your fans deserved to get taunted.
