I do not know the answer to this question. But the vols have less black assistant coaches that our big rivals. With a large majority of division one prospects being black in the south, I wonder if this is being used against us in recruiting.

If you are wondering here is the count.

Auburn 5 black coaches

LSU 4 black coaches

Gators 4 black coaches

Bama 3 black coaches

Georgia 3 black coaches

Vols 2 black coaches

I know that CDD was trying to hire the best men for the job, but I wonder if he should have considered this in the hiring process.

You would think in a country that has a black president that race would not matter but I wonder if we have really progressed that far.

So Alabama can win national titles with 3 black coaches, but we are handicapped in recruiting because we only have 2.

Before you reject the Idea, go to the tony basilio web page and listen to the replay of his show the 1st hour about 40 minutes into the show and listen to what a coach from west tennesse had to say about UT staff. He said that our DB coach terry joseph was not black enough to recruit memphis. I really do not know that means but I makes me wonder about race being used against us by other coaches in recruiting.

Yes.

They need to be black.

Jet Black.

So black that unless they smile in a dark room you can't see them.

So black that if they aren't holding a piece of chicken and watermelon that they are not considered black enough.

They better also not be able to speak a single logical sentence or know how to spell.

They also need to call Dooley Massa Dooley and they better never come in from the front door.

This is the underlying point of this conversation right?

Our coaches aren't black enough because they're educated and not thugs?

Last I checked black is black.

This crap doesn't even belong on this site.

Tennessee has more black coaches on their basketball staff than Kentucky or anyone else in the conference. rcrrcr -- don't you think that means that we should get every single top rated African American basketball player in the Southeast?? Let's just say your post is idiotic and leave it at that.

Anyone who says something that overwhelmingly stupid shouldn't be allowed to interact with other human beings.
