Stupid.
The only way it works out better for you is if you keep it only 2 weeks. And it saves you 2 dollars. This of course is if you only get 30 for trade in. Could be more, could be less.
Man I suck at the questioning/interrogations. Doubt/Lie is kicking my ass most of the time. I think alot of it just seems like you have to guess. Really enjoying it though, I'll definitely be replaying all of these cases to perfect them.
At least early on in the game where I'm at so far, it's painfully obvious by their faces if they're being truthful or not. Then, if they're not, it's just a matter of "do I have the evidence to call them out on this or not." If so, choose lie, if not, choose doubt.
I don't know, it always seems like Phelps will respond in a way I didn't want or expect and I get it wrong, even when the tells were blatantly obvious. I pick doubt the most, truth second to equal with doubt, and I've only used lie once so far.

A modern setting would be cool, this facial animation tech would be cool in Mass Effect. I think it'd be really cool if they'd release some kind of DLC with X-Files type cases.IMO this is a huge jump for gaming. I can only imagine a modern day twist on this game set in Liberty City.
