OPPORTUNITY..... (no disrespect to Elzy) pay some good money to hire a top of the line offensive assistant coach and then get out of his/her way!

I'd hate to lose Elzy as she seems an asset to the program. I'm impressed by her personality and articulate responses during media sessions, though not sure how much help she is on the coaching/recruiting end of things. I'd say we ought to nudge Law into retirement and hire a dynamic recruiter/offensive-minded coach to replace her.

If we can't get rid of Holly, I say dump the entire staff and hire the best offensive coach you can get. We also need a good guard coach and a coach that can coach up our bigs. We need to make sure that each has recruiting talent. The big issue in recruiting is Holly's lack of being very articulate. She has to be able to seal the deal on recruits. She just seems weak and very non-aggressive. Good head coach recruiters have a sales personality and that just does not seem to be a very strong skill set for Holly. Another big issue plaguing this program is Holly just does not know her limitations.

No question we need to upgrade staff, but that's going to be tricky. We would have the same issue we had with Dooley-- smart, aggressive coaches who could make an impact are reluctant to work for a weak HC who isn't cut out for the job. It's frustrating for people who are good at their jobs to be held back by people who aren't.

Fine I'll be an offensive assistant. I took care of the offense of a middle school team and we averaged 57 points a game, and the players had nothing to do with it. It was all me!!!

I'll do it, I've never coached before but how hard can it be to stand/sit clueless on the sideline like DEAN, KYRA and Jolette?
