Interesting article. Mitchell admits hard feelings toward Elzy over leaving for Tennessee that some alluded to in past years.

I will say this Elzy had no problem getting recruits through the door, but ultimately it comes down to the head coach and the team to close.

He said sad and hurt which isn't the same as hard feelings. I think if there were hard feelings he wouldn't have brought her back. But to be honest, if you're the head coach you have to be prepared for assistant coaches leaving, and when they do leave you can't be sad and hurt - you have to have a short list of candidates ready at all times. Doesn't sound as if he did.
