at this point, this is probably my dream hire as far as being realistic goes. i would love to have whittingham here.

Far be it from me to throw another Fulmer shot in here (and, although it sounds like a backhand to Utah, it most certainly is not), but....

Did anyone ever think they'd see the day that Tennessee would be ecstatic to get the head coach from Utah?

I don't mind this hire, but I will hate it if they hire coach cut. I would like kippy better than cut.

A year ago, UT was trying to decide between Kiffin and Kelly a year later we are hoping we don't get turned down by Utah's coach.

Of course Florida hired a former Utah coach and won a NC.

The only head coaching position he's ever expressed interest in, other than the one he currently holds, is when he chose between BYU and Utah in December '04.

In his time as Utah's head coach, he has never addressed speculation about other HC positions. Like utefan said, it's his policy to neither express nor deny interest in any other jobs.

I'm to the point that I'm going to throw a party for anybody we hire as long as it's not DAVID FREAKIN CUTCLIFF!!!!
