Just another day in America

"Under the laws of this commonwealth, my office has determined that (the defendants) should both be held criminally liable for the murder of Fanta Bility, as well as for the wounding of all of the bystanders," Stollsteimer said.
The attorney for Fanta Bility's family, former longtime Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor weighed in on the new charges.
"The DA is gonna have a tough time in a transferred intent case charging these fellas with first-degree murder," said Castor. "It does not, however, remove the focus from the fact that it was police officers acting recklessly and inappropriately that fired the fatal round that killed Fanta Bility."
Stollsteimer said an investigative grand jury would be seated Nov. 18 to "review the entire case, so that it may be determined whether the police officers' use of deadly force was justified." The lay panel is to hear testimony, compile a report and issue a presentment if charges are warranted.
Hopefully his lawyers are keeping track of stuff like this and once he is found not guilty they can then sue these media outlets for slander.CBS News Deletes Post Declaring Kyle Rittenhouse a Murderer Before Trial’s End
CBS News deleted a November 11, 2021, tweet declaring Kyle Rittenhouse a murderer, even though Rittenhouse’s trial is ongoing and the verdict on his August 25, 2020, actions has not been reached.
The deleted tweet reported on Rittenhouse’s November 10, 2021, testimony, in which he broke down in tears while talking.
The tweet said, “Kyle Rittenhouse testified in his own murder trial yesterday, breaking down in tears as he told the jury he murdered two men at a Black Lives Matter protest last year in self-defense.”

Beetlejuice got this.Nolte: Democrat-Run Chicago Braces for Rittenhouse Riots

“The Chicago Police Department has canceled regularly scheduled days off starting Friday and through the weekend in apparent anticipation of civil unrest in the event that Kyle Rittenhouse is acquitted,” the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Allow me to translate that for you….
Because Chicago is run by Democrats, because the corporate media have been shamelessly lying about the truth of what’s been revealed in the Rittenhouse trial, Chicago police know that if Rittenhouse is acquitted (as he should be), the left-wing terrorists in Antifa and Black Lives Matter, these dangerous babies who can’t deal with things not going their way, are almost certain to take to the streets to loot and burn in the name of social justice or something.

You would have thought these left wing media outlets would have learned their lesson after the Nick Sandmann case.
If i were the prosecution I'd make it more about just him wanting to be involved to promote whatever agenda he had. Let the jury decide what the agenda is. Could be specific "He hates black people rioters." Could be general "He hates rioters."
Either way its the same point: he went there "looking for trouble." The argument is that if you do that and provoke the very response you sought, then it is disingenuous to claim you were only defending yourself. Up to the jury to decide whether that is correct or whether, even if it is, the actions of the persons shot sufficiently intervened to make his actions lawful and justified.
