Anything that sucks could remind me of hating Alabama. So, you kind of are on to something there...

Seriously though, I'm not really sold on Prater. Sure, if we got him, it would be great (long shot) but I don't think he's going to be as good as his ranking. He looks slow and unathletic to me - not to mention the competition he's playing against.

I'm not saying he won't be good, but I'm not sure he's THAT good.

I'm a Bama fan. We're not really in the mix for him, although I think we were in his top 10. I was just trying to ease your pain.

Seriously, the first time I ever saw his video (before I knew anything about Bama's chances with him) I said I wasn't sold. He just doesn't look that good to me. He seemed slow and clumsy and it looked like he was playing against the JV squad from some 3A team.

I'm sure he's good, but he's definitely not at the top of MY wish list.

Oh I know. We get those comments all the time over on our boards too. It's ridiculous. But in this case, I really don't think he's as good as billed.

That George Teague play on Lamar Thomas...one of the best plays I've ever seen. I absolutely hated Alabama at that time, with the 8 in a row, but it was fun rooting for them that game.

Yeah, that happened in my formative years. I'd always been an Alabama fan, but that's when I started REALLY following football.

Yeah, that's one of no more than five times I seriously pulled for Alabama.

I'm beginning to regret pulling for Florida ever though... didn't think they'd be as insufferable as they've managed to be.

Don't expect to hear anything on Cobbs just yet. The rumors on Dunkley having interest may delay this.
