Thank goodness. I felt pretty good about it, a few people said his family came on here previously and put that to rest but its good to hear it straight from them

According to Hubbs, it was at one point a legit rumor. Said Kyle just experienced the frustration that a lot of highly-rated freshmen do. Stemmed from his injured shoulder, his lack of playing time and even having lined up inside over the center when he did play in certain passing situations.

Looks like the coaches did a good job of satisfying his concerns and tempering his frustrations. Just because he now says he's "not going anywhere" doesn't mean the rumor at one point didn't have some validity.

Looks like the curse is over. All we hear anymore is "Good" news about the football team. Sure is nice because it's been a long time.

With Bob Shoop coaching the defense let's hope Kyle Phillips can man up and play like the 5* player he is billed to be.

The goobers that started this are really sad. Heck maybe now they will finally let it die and quit the silly crap. Phillips is a VOL and he is going to be a great one. GBO!!!!
