We have legit coaching issues.

We have regressed, not improved.

We will probably lose some recruits over the next few weeks.

We can have some success running the ball...against second-tier teams. Jay Graham has done a good job with the RB room. Grey and Chandler are a solid 1-2 punch. And the freshman kid reminds me of a smaller Cheese.

Coaches: you have your answer on Jarrett. He’s a stout warrior, a class VFL, and an overall great kid. But he has played himself into a reserve role.

Like for GA State, this team was not ready to play.

Defense’s obvious Achilles Heel: LBs in pass coverage across the middle. Slants out of the slot...easy money every time.

Coach Chaney: wipe your whiteboard clean and start over. Find your mojo. Experiment. Do things differently. Mix it up. Do something, anything, whatever it takes to get a first down or two. It will help the team tremendously and our defense will thank you.

A 5-5 record is unlikely, 6-4 evidently a pipe dream...4-7 likely.

Only two more possible wins I see: Vandy and Arkansas. Maybe. If we’re lucky.

Coaches seem to have been exposed when it comes to halftime adjustments: the other team seems to do it well, us not so much.

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by riding Bailey and maybe Shrout from here on out, as well as every freshman who can block, tackle, run, cover, and catch. Play ‘em.

Play for next year. Build that team this year. Nothing to lose.

Still, no real depth on the team. Build it now. Baptize them with fire. Build the scar tissue.

There should be hard performance-related questions asked of Chaney, Weinke, Neidermeyer, and Sheldon Fenton. Your player-development strategies may need tweaking. Or nuking.

And Coach Friend: what’s up with Morris and Wright? They seem to have taken a few steps back. What’s up with that?

Player development is now also a legit avenue of inquiry across the team.

Morris has been worse than last year. I thought Sophomore Jinx was for albums and musicians. He should watch "The Tyler Byrd Story" on Lifetime tomorrow afternoon.

Pruitt has played for next year for 3 years. Anyone with half a brain knew JG would do this again. Every year, same thing. And if bailey or any other backup can’t cut it, throw salter out there next year. I’m tired of these clowns not producing.
