Wow. They just are never happy. Second time I've read their forums ever, and all they can talk about is how ****ty the final four teams are, how big and bad they are, the differences between recruiting MCDAAs and regular joes (ala-Butler), and how KY would kill the teams in the final four.

You didn't make it to the final four, and there IS a reason why.

Plus the smack talk on Orton, which I don't have an opinion on any which way.

Whew, headache :crazy:

Kentucky has some of the least classy fans in the country, save for a couple of UK posters on this site. Hence why nobody outside of their state likes or respects their program.

Went to Indy for the Final Four and it was so satisfying seeing the UK fans who obviously had bought tickets and hotel rooms a year in advance, just wandering around aimlessly like lost little souls.

Which of course, they are.

Yep. 4-149 from the three point line and 14-132 from the Free throw line.


We sucked.

But you have to understand my fanbase. They hate Dook like UT hates Bama, and no presentation of facts (such as us at home and Dook in the final four) can change the fact that the Blue Devils can eat Shat and die, while UK would win by 30 if they played today. Its part of the grieving process as well.

Thats just how it is in the land of Blue.

Edit: As usual when associated with a thread concerning CatsPause, I am required by good judgment to announce that I indeed detest and loathe CatsPause and its members to the full extent possible. And for Shats and giggles, Marc Maggard.

Cal's best teams at Memphis were generally terrible on 3s and FTs. Remember all the FTs they missed vs Kansas in 2008? That was par for the course for his Memphis teams.

It is no surprise that 3s and FTs knocked KY out of the NCAAs. Having a bunch of talented athletes who can get to the rim but struggle from three and from free is the package KY hired.

Granted, they were extra terrible from 3-pt land vs WVU, but a bad performance in that phase of the game is pretty normal with Cal.

It was as if he had the playbook on the sidelines.

Fortunately, these forums are populated entirely by reasonable, logical, emotionally mature posters whose main goal is civil, objective discourse.

Nah - I'm pretty sure you fan base is overall just miserable and bitter.

Your fan base despises the Dukies, loathes the Kansas Jayhawks, thinks Louisville should go to hell, wishes death upon Indiana, thinks anyone or anything to do with UNC should run out in the middle of a busy interstate, and is sickened by UThug because we have headbands, tattoos, and our coach. I think it's funny they still think Chism is a huge thug.

Did I miss anyone?

Yeah - we hate Bama - but respect them in the same way. We don't like UF either (I don't have respect for that program like I do Bama). But UK takes it to another level.

Yeah, you did forget UCLA. Because they are the only school with more national titles, UK fans must point out that if it were not for a significant 10 year stretch in history, that UCLA is insignificant and therefore when comparing "traditions", they do not compare to UK.

Pretty good breakdown otherwise.

It depends on the subject matter. I tend to think we are superior to ALL states in areas such as cow tipping, mail box bashing and of course, cheerleading.

We are the state of fast women and beautiful horses. Or maybe it's the other way around. Doesn't really matter, though.

We also make damned fine whiskey.

Agreed, with all of the above.

Especially the whiskey, I just normally leave that part out or I get overloaded with Jack Daniels supporters who believe all other whiskey (even great KY bourbon) is trash.

(even though I'm very fond of JD)
