He is not getting his a$$ caught crashing inside and allowing the opposition to churn out 40-50 yards a carry around the edge like I have seen every other Vol DE do the last three years.

And, Lord knows, I have begged and prayed for us to find someone to do that.

If that was all he had done so far, I'd have to be content. However, he is also pressuring the QB and getting to RBs in the backfield. My cup runneth over and he's improving everyday, too!

I would have a hard time questioning the level of play of anyone on our defense at this point.

I agree. This is by far the best tackling defense we've had in a very long time! It feels good to watch a TN defense that's not giving up 4 to 5 big plays a game.

Maggitt got outplayed this weekend by Barnett. Where's the love for him?

Maggitt seems to be on cruise control while Barnnet seems to be attacking and making stops.
